Configure the Facebook Comment Growth Tool Trigger

Here is the body of the section "Configure the Facebook Comment Growth Tool Trigger" in Markdown format:

Now when you're doing a common growth tool, the very first message has to be an opt-in, so that's what we're going to start with. The content type we're going to wait and we're going to fill out our information for opting in first.

I just said "Thank you for commenting, please confirm it's okay for us to send you messages via Messenger before we proceed." You can do a button here, you can do a quick reply, it's up to you. I'm going to do a quick reply, and I'll also do a little icon here, a thumbs up.

Now we are going to go to the trigger and we are going to go to the Facebook triggers and scroll down to the "Comment Growth Tool Facebook Comments 2.0." So go ahead and click on that. This is where we are going to set up our post. Now we actually have to have a post, I haven't done it yet, but I just wanted to have this in there. The reason I wanted to put that in here is now I can go through to the content type and we can go all the way down to "Comment Reply." I'm going to go back and select "Post" there.

Then we're going to decide, do we want to track first-level comments only? I'm going to say no, we're going to keep that off. Do you want to exclude any comments with these words? Currently, I'm not going to. Do you want to only trigger with comments with these keywords? Something I do quite often, but in this case, because of the nature of the post, I'm going to leave it completely open.

Now we'll go to next. Now this is where the 2.0 part of the comment growth tool comes in. We can actually add comment replies here. Now if you're going to use the reply and comments, that means that someone comments, and in the comment, you're going to reply, not just in Messenger. So you're basically setting up both. Currently, they'll only get the message, but if I want to add these auto-replies, my suggestion is you add a couple of them so it rotates them.

The other thing that we can do is we can like all the comments that go through. Now if you think you're going to get tons and tons and tons of comments at once or very quickly, then I would stay away from this. You don't want it to trigger Facebook into thinking that you're doing a whole bunch of spam. But if you think it's just going to be gradual, then this would be something that you could do. So we're going to turn it on, and before we enable this, we have to finish our flow.

Enhance Engagement with Automated Comment Replies

To create a Facebook comment-to-message action for your business page, follow these steps:

  1. Go to ManyChat and create a new flow. Name the flow and start with an opt-in message, such as "Thank you for commenting. Please confirm it's okay for us to send you messages via Messenger before we proceed."

  2. Set up the Facebook Comment Growth Tool 2.0 trigger. You can choose to track first-level comments only, exclude comments with specific words, or only trigger with comments containing certain keywords.

  3. Add automated comment replies to your flow. This allows you to respond to comments directly on the post, in addition to sending a message to the user. You can set up multiple replies to rotate through.

  4. Enable the option to automatically like all comments that trigger the flow. This can help increase engagement, but be cautious if you expect a high volume of comments.

  5. In the flow, collect the user's email address by using a "User Input" step. This allows you to send them a follow-up email with a promised gift or resource.

  6. Publish the flow and enable the Facebook Comment Growth Tool 2.0 to start automating your comment replies and email collection.

Remember to test the flow thoroughly before enabling it, and monitor its performance to ensure it's providing value to your audience.

Capture Valuable Leads with Email Collection

Here's how you can set up an email collection process within your Facebook comment growth tool:

  1. In your ManyChat flow, add a "User Input" block after the initial opt-in message.
  2. Set the Content Type to "Other" since this is happening within the 24-hour window.
  3. Prompt the user to confirm their email, letting them know you have a special gift to send them.
  4. Set the Reply Type to "Email" and choose to use ManyChat's email system as a System Field.
  5. Enable the Email Opt-In to automatically confirm the user's email address.
  6. After the user provides their email, send them a thank you message.
  7. Add a "Next Step" block to trigger an email to be sent to the collected email address.
  8. In the email design, include the promised gift or content.
  9. Publish your flow and enable the Facebook Comment Growth Tool 2.0.

Now, when users comment on your Facebook post, they'll be prompted to confirm their email in exchange for a special offer. This allows you to capture valuable leads directly from your social media engagement.

Deliver a Personalized Email Follow-up

Here is the section body in markdown format:

After the user provides their email address, the next step is to send them a personalized email follow-up. This can be done within the ManyChat flow by adding an "Email" action.

In the "Email" action, you can customize the subject line, email content, and any attachments or links you want to include. This is a great opportunity to deliver the promised "gift" or lead magnet to the user, while also building a stronger relationship through personalized communication.

Be sure to craft an engaging email that provides value to the user and encourages them to take the next desired action, whether that's visiting your website, signing up for a service, or making a purchase. By following up with a personalized email, you can nurture the lead and increase the chances of converting them into a customer.
